Silver Maiden is the creative outlet for BIAD School of Jewellery graduate designer and maker Julie Lorraine Brown.

 

Based on the isle of Bute, Scotland. Julie has been making jewellery for ten years, she designs and hand makes all her own work from her home studio. Combining a love of traditional making techniques with her personal passion for Astronomy and Astrophysics Julie creates elegant and often descriptive bodies of work.

Currently working on her most exciting work to date, the DARK | MATTER collection will combine pitch stone from the Isle of Bute with precious metals to explore the gravity mystery that's holding our galaxy together.
